Fig. 8. GeneChip data analysis scheme used to identify differentially expressed genes in wound blood vessels vs. skin blood vessels. Image acquisition and processing was performed by using GCOS (GeneChip operating software; Affymetrix). GC-RMA was applied for data normalization and background correction. ArrayAssist software, Version 5.1 was used to identify significant (P < 0.05; FDR corrected) differentially expressed genes in wound vessels compared to skin vessels captured using LMPC.
