Cover image: The DNA repair complex Rad50/Mre11 visualized with atomic force microscopy. The more voluminous globular domains of Rad50 in complex with Mre11 are red and yellow, and the long, thin, coiled-coil internal domain of Rad50 is blue. Statistical methods suggest that two regions of the coiled-coil domain of Rad50 exhibit increased flexibility that may be important for the repair activity of Rad50.
