2008 Subscription Prices for Individuals*

Subscriptions are for personal use only and are not to be used for a library.
You must pay by personal check, money order, or credit card, and state that
your subscription is for personal use only. Orders from students/postdocs must be accompanied by
a letter from your advisor or supervisor, on institutional letterhead, stating
that you are enrolled in a program of study leading to a degree or that
you are within 4 years of receiving a doctorate.
Note: All prices are in U.S. dollars. Print and online subscriptions
are based on a calendar year.

Tier 4 Carnegie Research Extensive institutions and their overseas equivalents (>12,000 relevant FTEs§), medical schools, research/teaching/network hospitals (eligible for Tier 2 if affiliated medical school purchased Tier 4 license), large nonprofit/government research institutes (5 locations ¶)
Tier 5 Medium corporations (1,000 - 3,000 relevant FTEs§)

†2008 Institutional Site Licenses automatically include Institutional Open Access Membership at no additional charge. Corresponding authors from institutions with 2008 Site Licenses/Open Access Memberships will receive a discounted price of $850, compared to our regular Open Access Fee of $1,200, to make their papers immediately free online. ‡Very small and very large institutions/corporations (those well below or above the parameters set in the model, such as consortia) please contact PNAS, for prices. §Relevant FTE is defined as the researchers, scientists, and other potential users of PNAS. ¶ If greater than five locations, please contact PNAS for multisite prices.
