  • Human PC3 cells were treated with drugs, with or without suramin and/or a combination of aFGF and bFGF. Drug activity was measured by the sulforhodamine B assay, which measures the cellular protein content. This assay gives higher IC50 values compared with the BrdUrd incorporation assay.
