  • NCDI, no concentration-dependent interaction observed within the range of the instruments detection. Rough LPS (R-LPS), Smooth LPS(S-LPS), LPS with only 2–6 O-antigen repeats [very short LPS (VS-LPS); isolated from S. flexneri strain RMA4328, structure in Fig. 1). R-LPS were isolated from S. flexneri strain RMA2161. S-LPS were isolated from S. flexneri strain RMA2159. Ode-S-PS is the polysaccharide obtained from O-deacylation of S-LPS. Ode-R-PS is the polysaccharide obtained from O-deacylation of R-LPS.
